Visual Design Work
Designer Evolution
How will the advancement of gene editing lead to an undesirable future where modification becomes easily accessible and people’s worth are determined by the level of their modification?
Ghosts of Labor: AI Replacement Memorials
This poster visualizes a speculative future where human labor has become a memory. As AI and robotics increasingly replace workers across industries, AI Replacement Memorials imagine how society might publicly acknowledge the people and roles lost to automation. These memorials mark the final moments of human-held jobs, such as "Here stood the last human cashier," making visible the emotional, social, and cultural impact of workforce displacement. Instead of celebrating technological progress, the project asks viewers to confront the human cost of automation and reflect on what disappears when machines take our place.
San Diego Design Week 2025– Impact Submission
For San Diego Design Week, I created a design pitch based on the theme of impact, focusing on the environmental pressures humans place on our oceans. My visuals highlight issues such as pollution, habitat loss, and ecological imbalance, aiming to spark awareness and reflection. This submission received third place in the competition.
Artist Statement Conceptual Poster Series
This project began with writing a personal artist statement, identifying key themes that shape my creative practice: self-expression, outlet, flow, and growth. From these themes, I developed a series of denotative, connotative, and final poster designs that visually interpret my artistic identity and influences.
